Galilean Moons World Premiere at St.Martin-in-the-Fields 12th November, 2019 as the final concert of pianist Nicholas McCarthy’s UK Piano Pilgrimage Tour. Inspired by Nicholas and this 50th Anniversary year of Man landing on the moon, the Galilean Moons were discovered by Galilei Galileo in 1610.
World premiere performance of LIGHT at St.Martin-in-the Fields, London by the acclaimed soprano Grace Davidson, featuring clarinet Helen Paskins, cello Justin Pearson and piano Julie Cooper. LIGHT was inspired by Andrew Motion’s poem that surrounds the external balustrade of the St.Martin-in-the-Fields lightwell commissioned by Modus Operandi.
