‘Venus in Sunlight Grey’ is now available on Signum Classics and all streaming platforms. It’s the second single to be released from the forthcoming album ‘OCULUS’.
The track was inspired by the Italian Renaissance painting ‘The Birth of Venus’ by Sandro Botticelli, along with the uniquely pure voice of acclaimed soprano Grace Davidson and the vivid colours synesthete conductor Jessica Cottis visualises when conducting.
Venus in Sunlight Grey features soprano Grace Davidson, the Oculus Ensemble strings (led by Clio Gould), harpist Camilla Pay with Julie Cooper on piano, conducted by Simon Hale and produced by Jonathan Allen recorded at Masterchord Studio, London.
