Soprano saxophonist Jess Gillam is one of the very brightest stars in the International Classical world and has a truly unique talent for touching the soul with her beautifully luminous, hypnotic sound and incredible musicianship.
This was my favourite commission of 2024, such a privilege to create for Jess and her wonderful Jess Gillam Ensemble a reimagined version of Liszt’s piano piece ‘Consolation No.3′, it is the 1st single to be released off her EP ‘PRISM Vol.II’ .
Recorded at the iconic Real World Studios (a bucket list big tick for me) with producer Jonathan Allen and engineer Katie May.
