VENUS in Sunlight Grey – Single release 07.03.23
‘Venus in Sunlight Grey’ is released on Signum Classics and all streaming platforms on 7th March, 2023, the 2nd single to be released from the new album ‘OCULUS’.
The track is inspired by the Italian Renaissance painting ‘The Birth of Venus’ by Sandro Botticelli, along with the uniquely pure voice of acclaimed soprano Grace Davidson and the vivid colours synesthete conductor Jessica Cottis visualises when conducting.
The track features soprano Grace Davidson, the Oculus Ensemble strings led by Clio Gould, harpist Camilla Pay with Julie Cooper on piano, conducted by Simon Hale and produced by Jonathan Allen.
‘Venus in Sunlight Grey’ is released in celebration of International Women’s Day 2023.
The album ‘OCULUS’ will be released in February, 2024.
