PAVANE in Burnt Orange
‘PAVANE in Burnt Orange’ is the 4th single to be released off the album ‘OCULUS’ on Signum Records and is the slow 2nd movement from ‘The Renaissance Suite’. Written for the acclaimed violinist Clio Gould, the leader of the Oculus Ensemble.
‘ASCENSIO’
This 3rd single ‘ASCENSIO’ is released on Signum Records 10th May, 2023 and features acclaimed Romanian/African pianist and founder of The African Concert Series, Rebeca Omordia. The album ‘OCULUS’ is set for release in February 2024.
VENUS in Sunlight Grey
‘Venus in Sunlight Grey’ is released on Signum Classics and all streaming platforms on 7th March, 2023, the second single to be released from the forthcoming album ‘OCULUS’. The track is inspired by the Italian Renaissance painting ‘The Birth of Venus’ by Sandro Botticelli.
To A Skylark
The single ‘To a Skylark’ is released on 2nd November, a duet written for and capturing the unique voices of soprano Grace Davidson and her treble son Joshua Davidson, the very first Mother/Son-Soprano/Treble duo to release a single.
Royal Albert Hall Concert
As part of the Steinway Series: Donne, Women in Music at the Royal Albert Hall concert on Sunday 23rd October. Rebeca Omordia will perform the world premiere of ‘Ascensio’, recorded by Rebeca for Julie’s new album released in 2023 on Signum Records. Julie will perform with the HER Ensemble her track ‘White and Silver’ from the KPM/EMI album ‘Human Stories’.
Nicholas McCarthy performs ‘Galilean Moons’
‘Galilean Moons’ was performed by Award-winning pianist Nicholas McCarthy on 23 May 2021, as part of the Summer at Snape concert series at Snape Maltings.
Reflected Motion
Julie’s track ‘Reflected Motion’ from the ‘Widescreen Elegance’ album was used for Colombian visual artist and sculptor Joaquin Restrepo’s ‘Amor Fati’ Exhibition, presented to Europeans through the Colombian Embassy in Switzerland.
